How To Find A Coach

When looking for a coach they must meet certain criteria : 

 

1.  They must be qualified by a recognised organisation.

(World Snooker or EASB)

 

2.  They must hold a current Criminal Records Bureau check.

(CRB check is important when the coaching is for children or vulnerable adults)

 

3.  They must be able to demonstrate what they are asking you to do - talk is cheap, seeing is believing.

 

4.  They must be friendly - you should be able to develop a rapport with them easily.

 

 5.  They may or may not be an ex-professional player - Knowledge of the game at the highest level is very useful - but not essential.
